1.Amazon/Etsy have very standard charge rates, either set a shop up or storage even shipping they do have their own rates.
2.You cannot do the pre sales without getting your products into the supervised depository. While you can pre-sell on your own platforms.
3.Most importantly, so many similar shops and products up there. You can always find someone beating you down with lower prices, even get to question how that would be possible. Trust me so many people pay a lot to build a shop in the beginning just win some repeat customers.
4.Amazon needs marketing as well. Ads or free products both help appeal new customers, both are requiring financial support.
